Brookwater-based earthworks specialists servicing South East Queensland and the Toowoomba region
Based in Brookwater, we provide professional earthworks and site preparation services across South East Queensland and the Toowoomba region. Whether it's preparing a residential block for construction or managing commercial excavation, we have the equipment and experience to deliver quality results.
Experienced in Level 1 compaction work, we can arrange the engineer from the beginning to the end of your project. From initial site assessment through to final compaction and drainage, we ensure every project meets specifications and council requirements.
Our earthworks services cover every aspect of site preparation, from initial excavation through to final grading and drainage.
Complete site clearing, levelling, and preparation for construction. We handle vegetation removal, topsoil stripping, and site access establishment.
Precision excavation for foundations, basements, pools, and drainage systems. From small residential digs to large commercial excavations.
Expert site levelling and drainage installation ensuring proper water flow and site stability. Laser-guided grading for precision results.
Experienced in Level 1 compaction for building pads and bulk earthworks. We coordinate with engineers from site assessment through final certification to ensure all work meets required specifications.
Every great landscaping project, retaining wall, or building pad starts with earthworks done correctly. Cut corners at this stage and you pay for it throughout the life of your project — through subsidence, drainage failures, retaining wall movement, and costly rectification.
We work across South East Queensland and the Toowoomba region on everything from small residential site preparations to large commercial earthmoving projects. Our team has the equipment and experience to handle difficult sites — steep terrain, reactive clay soils, high water tables, and tight access situations.
QBCC licensed (15471933) with Level 1 compaction capability. We coordinate engineers from initial assessment through to final certification.
Complete vegetation removal, topsoil stripping, and site establishment. We prepare your block for construction — correctly levelled, drained, and accessible for the next trades.
Precision excavation for foundations, pools, drainage systems, basements, and underground services. From small residential digs to large commercial excavations across SEQ and Toowoomba.
Cut and fill work for land reshaping, level changes, and development site preparation. We have the machinery to move significant volumes efficiently, minimising your project timeline and cost.
Laser-guided grading for accurate fall across your site. Correct drainage design and installation — essential in Queensland where heavy summer rainfall can cause serious site damage if not managed properly.
Certified Level 1 compaction for building pads, road sub-bases, and bulk earthworks. We arrange engineering from day one and manage the certification process through to completion.
South East Queensland's geology varies significantly across the region. The Springfield, Ripley, and Ipswich corridor presents mixed ground conditions — including reactive clay soils that expand and contract with moisture changes, as well as areas with rock and stone beneath the surface that require specialised equipment and careful planning during excavation. The Toowoomba region's basalt-derived soils present different challenges, including harder digging conditions and different compaction requirements.
Inner Brisbane suburbs like Kenmore, Chapel Hill, and Bardon typically have more complex terrain with significant slope changes and weathered rock formations requiring careful excavation planning.
We assess every site individually and adjust our approach based on actual conditions — not a one-size-fits-all methodology.
Level 1 compaction is required for building pads intended for residential construction in Queensland. It ensures the soil is compacted to a standard sufficient to support a concrete slab and the structure above it. If you're building a house or major structure, your engineer or certifier will specify if Level 1 compaction is required.
It varies enormously by site. A flat block needing minor grading might require very little removal, while a steeply sloped block could require hundreds of cubic metres of cut and fill. We provide a site-specific assessment and quote — including any cartage costs for spoil removal.
